Last nights full council meeting was "suprising"
It came to an abrupt end of this;
Item. 14.
To consider the motion of which has been given by Councillor Stock pursuant to Council Procedure Rule 16:-
This council is committed to regeneration across the District and believes this can best be achieved by a whole council approach that allows and encourages the particpation of all sixty councillors as well as all services and staff, therefore this council resolves to shut down Tendring Regeneration Ltd immediately in order to bring its powers and functions back within the democratic control of the council.
And then uproar ensued.............. At approx 10-30 the council meeting closed leaving some other 9 items still left unheard, and to be carried foreward to next full council meeting in December.
Many councillors left saying it was a farce.......

I wonder why said councillor never brought rule 16 up when the company was being discussed before it was formed?

You should have been there last night J,
unbelievable is not a big enough word to explain what happend.
Cllr. Neil Stock and Cllr. Stephen Henderson were appointed into, and accepted a post on Tendring Regeneration Ltd.
Cllr Hendersons own recorded words (the whole event was voice recorded last night) were,
"i didnt like what i heard", so he and Cllr. Stock resigned after a few days.
