Correct me if I'm wrong, but was'nt it the new EEDA strategy to begin regeneration with a more peacemeal, less grandiose scheme by redeveloping a small number of properties at a time. Strange then that we suddenly have a very costly Regeneration company set up by TDC and yet again all this seems to have been forgotten. Still after 30 plus years of broken promises who can be suprised.

I thought that INTEND was supposed to co-ordinate and find funding sources for Regeneration throughout the District, but i coud well be wrong, it would'nt be the first time.

I t hink the goal posts changed half way through Dave. Ian saw that nothing about Jaywick was mentioned on the site Despite assurances early this year that Jaywick was their prority.. the more synic part of me thinks that olivers begging bowl was used to set up project tendring / tendring regeneration/in-tend, now its all up and running, olivers begging bowl looks empty again......time for more grants soon..? but who will benifit this time........ Going back intime a couple of years, it was suggested that trial modules will/may be built on EEDA owned land.. It has been suggested by more than one person that "meet and greet" offices / cabins will soon be placed in a central location in Jaywick, to enable Jaywick residents to go and discuss their problems, fears or asperasions.. The most central location we have in Jaywick is on the ex Brooklands Club site.. (now owned by EEDA)....strange that..!.!

For those who have been following the news, In-Tend and its group have been "called in" by fellow council members as to find out if they have acted illegilly...

TDC has new planning rules starting October 1st. you can vue via there website.
The 4th paragraph affects us =
"However, it will not involve the relaxation of any rules governing areas such as Jaywick or Conservation areas - where permitted development rights have already been removed."
I wonder WHY..................lol....
