Well where do i start, it has come to light from the planning and decision making department at TDC that it has pointed out that due to falures in its duties, T D C has lost its authority on its decision making over roadways, due to continuing problems over the "abbigale gardens" fiasco, Essex County Council as the Highways Authority is now the sole consultee on new development(the councils highway agency having been withdrawn) and thus a consistent standard of advice is now given to the council... www.tendringdc.gov.uk/NR/rdonlyres/D9E05E7B-C7E5-490F-A4E6-82F0966E6B8E/5552/DCCAgenda25thJune2008.pdfpages 12 & 13 item 2 preventative steps part 1 & 2. OK, so what does this mean for us in jaywick, well at this moment in time, i`m not sure, but i will find out. It is now well known that Essex County Council are taking the lead in our futures in jaywick, despite the published assurences to the contrary from tdc`s Project Tendring. Can we look foreward to more serious imput from County Hall soon. I do know that one or two TDC councillors, and ex TDC councillors are showing some interest in Jaywick. As ever, time will tell..

Hi I was watching Anglia Tonight and like every year they are giving away up to £60,000 to well deserved charities etc. It is funding from the National Lottery. I had a great idea, couldnt we ask for funding for the roads on the Brooklands, I have downloaded an Application Form, as the Council are once again dragging their heels as its to do with Jaywick. I live on Vauxhall Avenue which starts off ok but the half way down you fall down 3 or 4 bloody great big holes which get flooded in the rain and turn into ice skating rinks in the ice and snow, as with every other road I have ever been down on the Brooklands. It was just an idea so thought I would write to see what you thought
Many Thanks
Jenny
